I can’t believe it’s almost December! I have been living in sweaters now that the weather is getting cooler, like this cable-knit turtleneck sweater that I have had for years (J.Crew old, similar here and here). I always find a turtleneck to be so flattering and I love wearing them on a cold winter day when I want to feel warm and cozy (you can shop more sweaters for under $100 here and here.) A cream cable-knit sweater is timeless, making this a perfect top to throw on for a casual holiday party, dinner with friends, or just hanging out at home. Adding a printed accessory like this leopard print clutch and a red lip (I am wearing Chanel Fire lipstick) is a great touch for this casual holiday-ready style.
Adding a leopard print accessory is a great way to make a traditional winter outfit a little more fun and trendy. I love Clare V bags like this one (similar less expensive here) and since they are more expensive, they make a great item to put on your holiday gift list. Grabbing a printed accessory as you head out is a great way to dress up a more simple style.
These over-the-knee slouch boots have become my favorite boots this season. They are almost sold out (avail in size 10, 11, and 12) so I found similar styles here, here and here. The block heel makes these casual and cute while the tall, loose style is super flattering. The suede camel color goes with almost everything and you can wear them with all winter long with jeans or with a cute dress or skirt and tights.
Last, but certainly not least, are these super comfy jeans. They are technically considered leggings by LOFT but they look just like skinny jeans and are perfectly stretchy and flattering. They aren’t stiff at all and are only $69 (look out for sales!) I plan to buy another pair as they are great all year round and work well with boots for all your winter outfits as well.
